Jose's sick.. :-(

Jose started having problems with his asthma last night.. He's been sniffling etc for a week now.. He went to Open house last night with Jeff and had started coughing some.. An hour later they rushed back and we did his peak flow meter.. He was only blowing a 71!!!! His high on his chart was 285 (today they moved it up to 325).. So he was WAYYYY down there.. We did a treatment and got him up to 110.. :-( From 9 last night until his 10:15 appt this AM they did 9 treatments.. He's doing them every 2-3 hrs right now.. They increased his Advair.. Which after reading the long term side effects on that has me worried.. He was on a 250/50 diskus, now he's on 500/50 diskus for a month.. He's on 40 mg steroids a day until he gets better.. He is so upset now because he doesn't like the way he feels.. His heart is racing, shaking really bad, feels dizzy, nauseous etc.. :-( He goes back in 10 days for a follow up..
