This weekend was anything but a relaxing weekend.
Friday night Aleena and Peyton both had soccer practice. Daddy got moved to a Rehabilitation Hospital to help regain some strength. And my niece Emma was at the ER. She was sick for a day or so, and on Friday just wasn’t doing well at all. Johann took her in and they hooked her up to an IV for dehydration, diagnosed her with some sort of bacterial infection and ear infection. She’s home now and doing better.
Saturday Jeff got up to go wait in line to receive a ticket so he could get an autograph from Kareem Abdul Jabbar (not sure I have that spelled right??).. I worked on the house, laundry etc. He went and picked mom up and took her to see Daddy for a bit. Then we went to Peyton’s basketball game. We were so excited that his team won their 1st game of the season!!! Peyton is learning how to play defense and doing a great job. And all of the parents got to see this kids dance moves. He was shaking those hips all over celebrating their victory. The parents joked he could be our ½ time show next week. J We then went back to Plano so Jeff could redeem his ticket and get the autograph, went out for dinner at On The Border and went home.
On Sunday we woke up and went back to our old church for the 1st time in about 6 months. It was great to see those we’ve made friends with and had a great time. Aleena went home with a friend from there, and the rest of us went out for a quick lunch. We then headed up to see Daddy. Daddy is doing OK; just really tired and has no energy. It’s sad.. And he doesn’t think he can do anything on his own, has no will power. I pray that he gets that back soon. We then went to pick Aleena up from the friend’s house. While there Peyton was petting there Miniature Schnauzer, and he bit Peyton on the hand. L It was quite scary, Apparently this dog has a history of biting, but we didn’t know that. He drew blood from the palm of his hand, and his index finger, had teeth marks on the top of his hand as well. It was pretty swollen and bruised last night.. Poor guy.. as a friend said last night, Peyton just has the crummiest luck of them all. On our way to that friends house Peyton had his window rolled down just a bit with his hand sticking out. Jeff didn’t realize that and rolled Peyton’s hand up in the window!!!
Then Jeff and I went out and did some major grocery shopping, went home and the kids made pizza’s, and we relaxed and watched the Grammy’s…
That’s it for now!! Thanks…
